Gerald Joseph “Jerry” Blavat, better known by his stage name Jerry Blavat, was a disc jockey, performer, and television personality who was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on July 3, 1940, to parents Louis Blavat and Lucille Capuano. He attended Catholic high schools Saint John Neumann and Maria Goretti for his education. The Geator with the Heater and The Big Boss with the Hot Sauce are some of his other nicknames. The American DJ has four incredible kids.

The first golden retriever puppies were born at Guisachan House in Glen Affric 155 years ago. They were bred by aristocrat Sir Dudley Marjoribanks, who wanted a gun dog suited to Scottish Highland terrain. Owners from across the UK, continental Europe, North America, Australia and Japan have been meeting at the ruins of Guisachan House.
